Do You Have Compassion?

Compassion: Sympathy, Concern for the sufferings or misfortunes of others

Have you become so distant with the news you see on television or maybe a persons misfortune posted on social media that you don’t stop and recognize that their is another human being on the other side of it all? Have you thought about anybody else that may have a need…maybe the person that sits next to you at work, or that child whose shoes look to be very worn out that gets off the same bus as your child? Who have you noticed?

As a society that is filled with schemes and scams, it is very important to use wisdom, of course…but don’t allow that to make you so cold or hardhearted that you forget there are still people who needs you, your gifts, your talents, your time, and your love.

Are YOU Learning Anything New?

What have you learned new lately? What new book have you read that inspired you to a new way of doing things or even just a new way of thinking? New ideas, new motivations, new skills, new experiences, maybe a new friend, a new career, and if none of those have happened for you, how about lets get a new mind set today. A new way of thinking can change your whole life. It can introduce or discover things about you that you never thought was possible. Can you see that NEW body that you’ve been dreaming about that is 20 pounds lighter because you actually put in the time to care about your body/temple. Can you see your career changing to that stylist you always wanted to be so now that you don’t care about the price of that sewing class. What do you see when you see you? What can others learn from you other than keeping it real? What have you learned so that you may one day teach it to someone else? Go find out something new!

Are You Studying Yourself?

It is ironic that we know what we call the truth about everyone else except ourselves. We are good at observing others in their faults, their sin, their imperfections, and even their looks. However; we know little about ourselves to correct those things that are not so flawless in us. Have we thought about why we like certain people and not others? What makes us have mood swings? Or just maybe that one big question that will sum everything up in a nut shell…”What controls me”… think about you today, study you, get to know who you are first and then help someone else discover how they can overcome who they are not and be who they are.

Why Are We NOT Prepared?

Why are we not prepared for Jesus Christ to return? Why do we play with the time that we don’t know of the amount we have? Why is tomorrow so much better than today? Why can we say yes to the things that depreciate it’s value? Why is love something we don’t give away when it cost us nothing? Why are the bodies we live in as God’s temple the one thing we don’t take care of? Why doesn’t life  matter to the one’s who still have theirs? Why do we minimize our purpose to our abilities of what we like/love to do? Why do we jeopardize our very soul for a feeling that will leave after it’s been felt? Why is the truth so hard to tell and a lie so easy when it clearly does us no good?

Why are we not prepared for life after death, for eternity when it’s forever. Why are we not prepared to be judged by the Lord Himself? Why are we still asking why, when we have a book with all the answers? Why don’t we follow the example of Jesus, when He was and is the only perfect man to follow? Why are we not living Holy when it’s the only way our Father intends for us to be.

Why are we NOT prepared? The answer….because we choose not to be.

How Are You Walking?

God will give us all assignments or moments in our life as a way of training our spirit, our integrity, our patience, our loyalty, and mostly our love that we say we have for Him. So we go through things sometimes and have to find out for ourselves that we don’t necessarily  live what we say we believe.

Galatians 5:22-23,25 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, (23) Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.(25) If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

How are you walking?

Are you are walking in LOVE?

Are you walking in JOY?

Are you walking in PEACE?

Are you walking in  LONGSUFFERING (without complaining)?

Are you walking in GENTLENESS?

Are you walking in MEEKNESS?

Are you walking in TEMPERANCE?

ARE YOU WALKING IN THE HOLY SPIRIT? YOUR WALK CAN BE SEEN!
