John 6:63- It is the Spirit that quickenth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are life.
Jesus spoke these words in response of to many His Disciples (not the original 12 disciples) complaining and not understanding who or what His purpose really was; although they followed Him. Some of Jesus’s words were offensive however His words were true and the gave life because Words are Spirits!!!
