Matthew 3:11 (John the Baptist spoke) I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear, he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire.
Baptism- A christian ordinance; a washing with water to demonstrate cleansing from sin, linked with repentance and admission into the community of faith; figurative of an ordeal or initiation.
Holy- Consecrated or set aside for sacred use; standing apart from sin and evil; characteristic of God, especially the third person of the Trinity. (Ghost means spirit).
Fire– Hot flame and burning light (in this scripture).
